Punter Dave sent us an email to express his disgust at the thought that the French President, Nicholas Sarkosy, was bringing in laws to curb the drinking habits of his fellow French men and women. You might remember that this issue came up during our conversation with Peter Bosworth from Morningside vineyard. 

"When I heard Peter talk about it I thought a sensible person wouldn't do this in a nation which regards wine as part of it's national character but then it all became clear when I saw this picture!" he wrote.
