A Wine Punters event is tailored to suit your individual needs and budget and is always delivered in a relaxing and fun manner. No wine snobbery, just pure enjoyment!
We have already successfully delivered:
- "You Be The Judge" - our annual blind pinot tasting where every day folk get to decide which is the best pinot noir that Tasmania has to offer. The tasting includes pinots from all around Tasmania but no one knows what region, price range or label when they're tasting them. It is a simple 'do you like it, yes or no' situation where you score based on your individual taste. The winning wine gets the Wine Punters bow of approval for being the favourite pinot of the punters!
- "The Paint Place" conference, March 2012. We conducted a wine tasting for 140 conference delegates prior to their farewell lunch. The tasting included 4 wines, plus a "mystery" wine where delegates had to guess what variety of wine they were tasting.
- Our annual charity event based around a wine tasting, with a lot of fun and frivolity thrown in. Each year we throw in some activities for people to get involved. Recently it was: you be the winemaker where each team was asked to make their own blend of wine, coming up with some pretty amazing blends to make true winemakers proud.
- Corporate tastings. We have conducted wine tastings at a number of work places as part of a social club gathering, fundraiser, or just because!
We can conduct a wine tasting or presentation as part of any event you might run. Whether it be an informal tasting of a range of wines, a specific tasting based around one particular variety, or any other combination. It could be a pre dinner tasting, over lunch tasting, or wherever it fits in to your schedule.
A portion of profits from all Wine Punters events goes to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, in memory of Michelle's mum who passed away as a result of breast cancer at the age of only 49.
